Jeffrey Grant is a Grammy award winning musician based in Washington D.C. Jeffrey performed on the 2021 Grammy winning album for Best Orchestral Performance with the Los Angeles Philharmonic & Gustavo Dudamel: Ives Symphonies. He was a member of the Long Beach Symphony and has performed as timpanist and percussionist regularly with the Los Angeles Philharmonic since 2014, traveling with the orchestra on five international tours. In November of 2021, Jeffrey was appointed as percussionist in “The President’s Own,” United States Marine Band.

In addition to this, he has also performed in many of the LA Phil’s Green Umbrella series concerts. One special Green Umbrella concert featured Steve Reich’s Mallet Quartet with members of the Philharmonic and Jeffrey as one of four soloists. Mr Reich attended the performance.

Jeffrey has also performed with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Toronto Symphony, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, New World Symphony in Miami Beach, Florida, the Tucson Symphony, Santa Barbara Symphony, the Hawaii Symphony, the Fresno Philharmonic among others. He has played and collaborated with many internationally recognized artists such as Stevie Wonder, Katy Perry, OneRepublic, Shania Twain, Gloria Estefan, Andy Grammer, Chris Martin, Barry Manilow, Herbie Hancock, John Williams, Alex Acuna, The Go-Go’s and Kobe Bryant. Jeffrey performs wide ranging genres of music from classical symphonic, traditional-ceremonial American repertoire, Afro-Cuban, Latin-American, Latin Jazz, pop, rock and more with ensembles across the United States and on tour around the world.
